Are you ready to learn more about infrared asphalt repair?

In the old days, taking up asphalt was a real challenge. Between the tools, the labor, and the time, there was a lot to dislike about the process. Thankfully, we now have the technology to make this process a snap and it’s called infrared asphalt repair! If you’d like to learn more about this process then keep reading because we’re going to give you the rundown. Let’s dive in!

How does infrared asphalt repair work?

A large machine rolls over the asphalt, heating it up. The heated asphalt is then pulled up and reused to repair the pavement. This process breaks down the materials and allows them to be reused immediately, rather than needing more time and resources. There is no need to get rid of large chunks of pavement, grinding them down separately, or any of that. Infrared asphalt repair allows for the entire process to happen on site, so it’s a snap.

Why is this amazing?

When the whole process can happen on site, you are going to save a lot of resources. Money, time, and labor are all going to be saved using this technique. After all, you don’t need to purchase new materials. You can just reuse the materials that are already there. This also happens to make this process eco-friendly. Without the hassle of removing the old, broken asphalt, the repair process becomes much less stress. This will lead to less of an inconvenience when pavement gets damaged. Infrared asphalt repair is also great because the new asphalt will integrate into the rest of the pavement seamlessly, so it really will look just like new. Other types of asphalt repair can often lead to a patchy look, but not infrared asphalt repair.
